Half Page Family Recipe Binder Kit - White
Get everything you need to put together a family recipe binder.
We start with a white 3-ring binder with "Recipes" printed elegantly on the front cover and spine. If you want to use a custom front and back cover (made by our software or on your own) simply slide it into the clear plastic cover protector.
We selected a white binder because it will go with any of our software templates, and we went with a 1.5" D-ring binder, so it can hold literally hundreds of pages of recipes. The binder is slightly oversized, so it will protect the included 10 index tabs from harm. This binder is manufactured in the United States, and it has a rugged D-Ring. It feels solid and reliable. Dimensions are 2.25" wide spine, and 9" x 8.5" height/width.
Next we include our handy Kitchen Conversion Cheat Sheet. It converts cups to ounces, tells you how to cook a steak, measures spaghetti, and a hundred other handy tidbits you'll want at your fingertips.
Our third clever idea was to include a label sheet of 80 different categories for your cookbook. Why should you lump all your cookies into "Desserts" just because a cookbook tells you to? Our software lets you categorize your recipes how you want, and with 80 different category labels, our binder does too! Just peel off the 10 categories you want to use and stick them right on to the tabs. Throw the rest of the labels away (or pick up some extra tabs and keep using them).
All told, if you order our optional page protectors, you can fit about 125 pages (remember--those page protectors are very high quality, but a little bulky). If you print double sided, with the page protectors that will give you about 250 recipe pages. If you go single sided, 125 pages.
If, however, you go without page protectors you can probably fit around 300-400 sheets of paper, depending on paper quality. It will look quite classy with as little as 60 sheets, though.
We could have made a more ornate binder, but then it would've been about us. Your family cookbook is for you, so we're just giving you the tool kit you need to easily make the recipe book that reflects your cooking.

So Glad I Purchased These!

I was trying to decide how to do my cookbooks for my 5 grown sons and was almost going to just purchase small binders and dividers myself. I am so glad I didn't because these binders are designed to cover the tab dividers. The Avery binder I was looking at would not have. Also, these binders were of much higher quality than the Avery binder! The cookbooks turned out beautifully and I especially loved the accessories that came with each one! Thank you!

I have been looking for a small recipe binder for quite some time and I've finally found exactly what I was looking for. I use with the plastic page sleeves to protect my recipes which fit on a folded 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper.
The order process was flawless and they were delivered very quickly. It was a pleasure dealing with The Cookbook People!

I have purchased a total of eight half page recipe binders over the past few years. I have made recipe books for my family and now the grandchildren are wanting them as they grow up and leave home. Really like how I can personalize the binders.
Great Basic Binder Kit

The kit was fantastic and especially inexpensive for the quality. Have been unable to find a 1-1/2" half size binder anywhere else. Would have preferred clear labels for the dividers, though. I have already forwarded a link to your site to many of my friends and relatives because I'm so impressed with your products!
Great Basic Recipe Binder

This binder is so well made and holds more recipes than any other binder I have found. I love the D rings vs the circle rings. It is great for any recipe organization project.

My single recipe binder was overflowing--powered by my love of new cookie recipes. "Everyday staple" recipes were being stifled by so many clippings in wait of transfer to recipe cards. This binder is BIG, has a front cover pocket that can be filled with the artwork of choice (mine now has a chocolate covered strawberry on it that tells me dessert recipes are inside), and I have space for NEW cookie recipes! A second binder will soon be home to those beloved every day recipes. Nice binders!

I like the idea of being able to print my own covers and backs of my cookbook. The binders are large enough to accomodate many pages and I like the format. I will be ordering more as soon as I determine how many cookbooks I will be printing. I'm just in the recipe addition stage at this time.

Received the binders today with the tabbed dividers and other goodies. Well done on the quality, design and manufacture of the binder and dividers.

I love the white binder that I purchased, but I noticed that they are not all alike. Some seem to have the hardware attached to the spine and others on the back.
The one I have is on the back and seems to be a modified D ring. I wouldn't change anything.
half page recipe binder kit

This was just what wanted - to start a collection of family recipes and encourage my granddaughters to store their favorites away. My daughter has a similar binder = getting a bit frayed by full of good recipes that we all want to use.
Now, I would love to be able to buy pages for the halfpage binder like those in my daughter's book. Similar to recipe cards with a line for the recipe, who it is from, a little design on the left and then double spaced lines down the rest of the front. So much nicer than just flimsy light weight blank paper. Any suggestions??

It was a huge success. It was the hit of the shower for sure. All guests were looking at it and enjoying it and the bride went on to other things and went back to it to look at the end. I had left, everyone was in awe. Lauren, bride, said, this is a labor of love and sent me a glowing thank you. Thanks for all your help
